The UCPS Mobile Book Bus
Beginning June 14, the UCPS Mobile Book Bus will make dozens of stops at centralized locations throughout the county. With the help of UCPS volunteers and media coordinators, elementary-aged children will have the opportunity to board the retrofitted bus and pick out an age-appropriate book at no cost to their families – a move that will ultimately help to improve their literacy skills and ensure all students have access to books throughout the summer.
The UCPS Mobile Book Bus will run from June 14 until August 14. Please see the link above to find out when the book bus rolls into your area. Dates are placed on the calendar two weeks out.
