S.A.L.T. (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together)

S.A.L.T. is a volunteer group of senior adults that work with Union County law enforcement agencies regarding issues and events relating to senior citizens of Union County.

S.A.L.T. volunteers assist jail personnel with the visitation desk and in other areas of the Sheriff’s Office as needed by the Sheriff or staff. They are actively involved with the Crime Stoppers Bar-B-Q, Senior Citizens Day, National Night Out, and other Sheriff’s Office sponsored events as well as other activities held in Union County.

S.A.L.T. meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 3344 Presson Road, Monroe. S.A.L.T. is always looking for new members who, like them, have a desire to work alongside law enforcement personnel to make a difference in the lives of our senior adults in Union County.
