How Phil’s List Began

Phil Morehouse noticed there was no comprehensive guide to charities and services for people in need in Union County. To fill that gap, he created an original resource list and an email network to share updates, events, and service opportunities with the community.

As the list grew, it became more than Phil could manage on his own. Lisa Cooper stepped in and volunteered to take over, helping the project continue and expand. What started as a simple list has grown into a broader community resource — with guides, local information, event listings, and many ways to get involved.
