Free Breast Cancer Screening for Uninsured Women Ages 40 and Older September 17, 2026 at the Union County Human Services Buidling, 2330 Concord Avenue in Monroe.
Project PINK is a free mammogram screening program for women who do not have health insurance coverage for yearly mammograms. If you qualify, the program covers a 3D screening mammogram on Charlotte Radiology’s mobile unit, one diagnostic mammogram within a year of your screening if needed, a biopsy if needed, and an ultrasound.
To take part, you must:
- Be a woman age 40 or older
- Live in Union County
- Not have health insurance that covers yearly mammograms
- Not be pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have no new breast lumps or concerns
