  • There’s actually an interactive map to find Little Free Libraries

A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share to that same library, or another in your area, when you can. Registered little libraries have a primary caretaker, called a Little Free Library steward. The steward is usually the person who put up the library. The steward takes care of basic maintenance like keeping the library clean and inviting, but it is up to everyone who uses the library to keep it stocked with good books.

The full 41-page Printable and Searchable List of Resources can be seen below and printed or downloaded. The Union County, NC Resource Hub doesn’t search the whole internet. It only looks at the information that was put into it, which in this case is mostly information from each resource’s website. The special thing is that you can ask questions about the information inside it, and it will help you find the answers quickly. And, in the Studio section, there are some sample 30-day plans for improving different situations. This GeminiLM Notebook is built specifically for Union County, NC resources — things like housing help, food assistance, mental health support, senior services, and more.

I’ve loaded it with reliable, local information so you don’t have to dig through websites or make a dozen phone calls. You can simply ask a question, and it will give you answers. And you can ask follow-up questions as well.
